I decided to play my video game for a couple of hours after dinner, then it was somehow 5am. At least I'm moving along in the main quest and got lots more machine override codes, but a couple more hours sleep would probably have been a better idea.

Hmm. I just went out for breakfast. On my way back, in the elevator to get to my apartment, lies a drugged up man incoherently mumbling and scratching at bleeding wound on his ankle. Oh dear. I am waiting outside hoping the situation magically resolved itself
Edit: I saw someone else exit so i went back in hoping the other elevator would be down on 1, it was and I managed to get that one. maybe I should I have done something but I just didn't wanna deal with that this morning

Husband duely chiefed. He's now demanding i show him how to apply that to the brewery door. "That was wonderful!"

Had some friends over tonight for dinner before we went to a late movie session. Haven’t hosted in a little while and it was nice to do it again.

At the cinema, we accidentally booked seats at Hoyts that vibrated during the movie. It was pretty gimmicky, not worth the $5 extra. Maybe for an action movie it’d be good, but I don’t need to vibrate for Wicked.

I had a nice long well overdue, well deserved shower and so is outside.

Decided to take a lawful good approch to bad Santa and bought the card game bohnanza. It's a competitive card game about bean trading that's pretty simple and fun.

I was talking to a woman in my team about it and she's into dnd and board games so I'll give her a hint what it is and she can either open it or steal it off someone.

I moved Miss Meow's tunnel because she wasn't using it where it was.

3 hour total daily commute sucks ass but it's worth it for now.

I have thought "maybe I should go for a walk" five times today and each time it's got feral and rainy within five mins. I give up. Heater is on and blankie applied

I hung out washing about half an hour ago. So it's my fault it's raining so heavily.

Today has been a really slow one for me. I just didn’t want to get out of bed. Life feels so hopeless and anxious.

I took a short walk and might try some rows with a 1kg dumbbell tonight because of my abysmal posture.

Been binge watching Highway Patrol. Worked out if you've been drink or drug driving the cops are quite pleasant but if you go for your pocket to retrieve a tissue you might find yourself with your arm up ya back and ya face into the asphalt.

Damn waking up at 6:30am during the week now I can't sleep in apparently.

Fuck you body, I run the show!

I love sitting in bed looking out the window at the rain while I'm warm and cosy.

my whole day has been put out of whack

Colour 12 in the eyeshadow palette , it's nude but a yellow based nude. Makes me look ill and weird. Will not use again.

Dumbbell rows done, ten on each side. I might throw on another chunk of Mt Washmore and then see how I feel about some more gentle exercise.

I’ve found a few unexpected gems on YouTube but some required signing in. Deciding whether I should buy a dvd player or a PS2 (which doubles as one) and just fucking buy the discs.

Did the big vac today, which requires pulling everything out from under beds. I decided to repack that stuff into uniform sized zipped up bags to make it easier next time. It isn't happening during the week when I'm at work, which would be nice. Also started bagging stuff for charity donations. Put up the Christmas tree and it's pretty wonky and sad looking, might have to get another one for next year. I guess to that's to be expected when it's someone else's reject tree that's been thrown out. Ex MIL was sitting there all "pick up that tinsel there!" and "pick up that bit there, don't leave that there." Bit of a killjoy.

The power is getting switched off for the whole day by the power company one week before Christmas. It's inconvenient and I don't want to risk buying perishable Christmas food before then. We tend to keep it simple these days, but it's a bit annoying.

Edit: I also made a really nice wholemeal sourdough fruit bread. Better than last time but could still do with a bit more fruit.
