Its wild that they have lost all the guile and subtlety that used to let them get away with pretending that this shit isn't what it is. When did "The Israel Palestine issue is complex and there are clear arguments and atrocities on both sides that require a nuanced approach to solutions" turn into "You cannot be against murdering babies because those dirty Muslim babies don't count, your an antisemite."
Like yeah, we always kind of knew that those were the same thing, but now they aren't even pretending.

It’s so naked and on its face now that I can’t believe that 1) they went that far thinking no one would notice or be disgusted by it and 2) that they managed to fool us all for so long.
Also 3) how did they not realize this would backfire and so many simpletons would use it as an excuse for actual antisemitism rather than blaming the Zionist project and its supporters? Like obviously it’s not about a race or religion but plenty of dumbasses won’t make that connection and it just makes the world more dangerous for the innocents whom they purport to represent. I wouldn't say it's a jewish thing, as much as they are trying to paint it as such. Most of the people I know who are vocally against israel on this are jewish. And it wouldn't surprise me if it's as "artificially stoked" as alot of the stuff going on in the rest of the world.
