after watching the hats off video dissecting brooks' dracula i also hope so. when writing alone he skews zany, having other people help with the script would help. hopefully he's not been surrounded by yes men since his last project flopped.
There's so many new Star Wars, and they're so bad in so many different ways they really need to keep making Space Balls.
Like, even without the OG stars, introduce new characters and do the Star Wars thing where everyone really is their brothers cousins college roommates neighbor.

Hot Tub Time Machine tried to go from 1 to 3 and the studio wouldn't let them, they said Americans were dumb enough to not get the joke and wouldn't want to skip the second movie.
The entire scene of them jamming the radar followed by the legendary Michael Winslow losing the bleeps, the sweeps, and the creeps never fails to destroy me.
