Do they actually even make electric wheelchairs for 2 year olds? Wouldn't they out grow it after dinner?

lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 17 pts · 273d (1 reply)

It might be adjustable in some way

Had to look it up and bruh it’s an awesome machine - at least the one I found. It can go up to 8km/hr and comes with the remote control so your big brother can launch you off the stoop.

All the more reason to have them, the wear is minimum so many children can make use

Years ago now there was a young boy in Florida that couldn't afford a prothstetic because the cost. Some students from The University of Central Florida heard about it and got with mechanical engineering students there and made a 3D printable prosthetic for the boy, with cheap printable growth designs for future years.

It ended up spawning a non-profit tied to the University called Limbitless solutions. They now design free prosthetic designs for hospitals around the country to ensure affordable access for families that need them. Not sure what their quality is like, nor availability.. but truly a good story

Something something keep a CEO warm for life?

PKscope@lemmy.world · 25 pts · 273d

That's the kind of shit I'm talking about. Manifest this behavior into reality and things are going to start changing awful damn quick.

Brian Thomson, in his dying breath: lol you fool... I have life insurance too! If you strike me down, I shall become more wealthy than you can possibly imagine.

chiliedogg@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 273d (1 reply)

Mangioni is being charged as a terrorist. Life insurance typically has a clause that it doesn't cover acts of war or terrorism.

Thompson's life insurance should have been withheld.

NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io · 12 pts · 273d

These clauses don't apply to the rich.

The smell of burning human flesh and shrieking, giddy laughter is just the system working as intended

otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 273d (1 reply)

Presumably not from the same location. 😶

Gullible@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 273d

Goodness no! From the massive circle of frolicking people surrounding the building, not from the building itself. That would just be silly!

The Luigi gen that we need.

Ethalis@jlai.lu · 12 pts · 273d

I'm sure some hearts got really warm in that headquarters, with the fire and all

"How many 2yo kids can handle an electric wheelchair?" -some insurance exec probably

Meron35@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 273d (1 reply)

daannii@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 273d

Suggested name "fuck the system". Or "the man"

Or some variation of those

Formfiller@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 273d
