I met an artist at a comicon selling these beautiful prints of his work that really stood out and I stopped to talk to him about them. I thought they were screen printed because of how vibrant they looked.
That's when I learned about giclee printing.
Now I don't know if it's great for photographs. But it certainly looks exceptional for digital art or prints of artwork.
Check the link or search around online to learn more but the basics is that it's a type of printing that doesn't use the basic black, cyan, yellow, magenta inks.
Instead it uses hundreds of colors. Pre mixed.
It's why it's special. And it really does look like professional high quality, multi layer screen prints.
Humans reject other tissue from other humans. It's seen as foreign. It's why transplant recipients have to take drugs to suppress their immune system.
Also here is what cancer is:
It's human cells that have mutated that now grow incorrectly (too fast or erratic).
Or
Human cells growing in the wrong place in the body.
Or a combination of the two.
They mutate for a number of reasons but they are that person's cells. Have their dna.
There are many factors that can make the wrong cell type grow in a different area. Usually chronic prolonged damage causes this.
But That's why the body can't get rid of them. They are part of you. They aren't foreign.
This is also why they aren't contagious. Cancer is a product of the individual's cells not growing how they should.
Not someone else's cells taking over. Not a virus. Although some viruses and bacteria infections increase the risk of cancer developing. Like hpv. And h.pylori.
It's the 2nd one with the example I mentioned, not the first one. Sorry I got mixed up.
But Both the first and the deus ex invisible war (2) have the same corrupt corporations ruling the world themes though.
The first is set in 2077. Which is where cyberpunk 2077 got it's name from.
It has similar themes.
I think the invisible war has a more elaborate story and themes but people have misunderstood some elements as sloppy errors.
For example there are two competing coffee companies that want you to infiltrate the other to help bring down the competition but you find out later they are both owned by a single prime company. And people complained that didn't make sense but it actually does when you think about the monopolies we have today.
Another was how a woman who has a bunch of cybernetics works for a group that's against cybernetics.
Some people said that doesn't make sense. We got Latinos making up a large portion of ice agents. Make sense of that !
Also I really like this guys review videos if you are interested. I think he's funny sometimes and I generally just like his casual approach to reviewing games. He doesn't do deep dives but you get the over view.
I mean wasn't the threat of violence always implied though in this specific situation?
I mean the U.S said. Give us almost all of your energy resources, and we will let you trade with a few other countries.
And if you don't then we won't allow anyone who matters to do any business with you.
Then they also had other sanctions put on them when when they were giving them all that uranium.
Like the individual citizen wasn't allowed to use systems like PayPal. Which restricted them from doing international freelance work.
I knew an artist from Iran. He told me they also couldn't get most companies to ship things there.
And couldn't sell his art on platforms that used PayPal.
All these rules were to keep Iran and it's people from prospering. This deal from the u.s was agreed upon by Iran out of fear. Not because it was mutually beneficial.
That's extortion.
It's like adult Harry Potter where everyone smokes and fucks.
Anyway. It's pretty good but the main guy. Idk I just really didnt like him. And I wasnt sure why.
I just kept thinking. "That fricken guy. His face. I hate his face"
It was very distracting. Anyway. I bring this up because you have provided me with the answer. He looks a helluva lot like the singer of creed. That's it. That's why I disliked him. All these years I couldn't figure it out.
I think truck nuts are a symbol of a certain lifestyle and perspective in life.
They symbolize something specific. A fixation on displays of masculine superiority (even on shoes).
A symbol of insecurity and extreme gender conformity and promotion of toxic masculinity in its most basic form.
Having male genitals on display to prove your manliness.
I don't have a problem with artistic expression in style. But the message being expressed here is not a testament to the progress of humans but the opposite.
Btw I just thought of another thing I figured I'd mention.
Have you heard of giclee prints? https://www.prodigi.com/blog/what-is-giclee-fine-art-printing/

I found it on Pinterest.
There already were federal departments for such things.
Cdc. Fda, education department. And a ton more. Trump has just been dismantling them.
Shadow banning isn't on Lemmy. Your posts just get removed or blocked.
Will go after APA next.
American psychology association that accredits schools for therapists.
If we don't sin then Jesus died for nothing.

Specifically foreign companies and not foreign citizens.
I still don't see why the U.S has the right to make those restrictions with other countries.
It just sounds like extortion.
These are hilarious
So this TV show called the magicians.
It's like adult Harry Potter where everyone smokes and fucks.

Add outlast trials.
Or at least it's pretty stressful until you memorize the maps and enemy triggers.
What did Iran get out of it cause seams like they just got sanctions and b.s restrictions. Not a fair trade or anything.
Even filmed with a good camera still looks like crap.
As someone who pirates movies, I can say some people do download the cams. But not that many. Most people wait until there is a digital copy.
I think personal privacy is a much bigger concern but who am I ? I don't own any big business. So my opinion counts very little to policy makers.
Okay but also what right does the US have to take most of their uranium in the first place?

So you have no valid criticisms of any statement I made ?
I feel like the older I get, that function is more important than aesthetics.
Crocs and other similar foot wear made from eva foam is not only incredibly comfortable but cheap to make.
It's just eva foam.
I wish they weren't so ugly but it is what it is.
I'm honestly surprised no ones been able to design eva footwear that isn't so ugly.
I've seen some ballet flat shoes that are decent design. Croc makes them. But that's about it.
