Good that even judges are forced to eat cheap food in their car instead of somewhere normal, social, inviting
You know like a food-place... with friends... and sofas
That's why they have chambers, so at lunch in the cafeteria, the attorneys and the victim and the accused won't all murmur and stare at the judge while they trade desserts.
So outside the local courthouse there's this great deli. Pretty much the entire town eats there. At 11 you get the military shift, 1130 the courthouse, noon the office shift, one the mall, anyways it's open picnic table seating and I've got a couple judges in the family already. I've gotten to know most of the local courthouse just by eating at the right time.
Good thing we have the appeals process and a judge can later overturn or change the sentence if it was determined to be a mistrial or new evidence arrises.

Let's be honest, who wants to eat or socialise with a judge?

If they aren't ruling on my own case I'd be up for it. They probably have interesting stories.
