I would personally consider Ukraine and the EU to be the same issue since he's only supporting Ukraine to get in line with the EU policy (he doesn't support Ukrainian entry into the EU and opposes sending military aid)

So fill congress with people who are better on one specific issue but practically the same on every other issue? Congratulations, we could be guaranteed a Republican victory in 2028 as Dems will become widely known as the party that does nothing but get in the way.

He's still a conservative, being pro EU only means he wants to push far right policies on the EU as well.

The death of one ouppy is sad but infinite hrt can save many cute girls :3

I feel like star wars could have gone more into politics and philosophy, maybe flesh out the main story a bit more (aka not spinoff shows). They could have done so much more but of course story and consistency are clearly secondary to magic space wizards swinging around spicy glow sticks.

He's less good more slightly better, his social policies seem to be practically identical and his economic policies really only diverge in terms of the EU. Publically he speaks of anti corruption but considering he was involved in a scandal I'm not sure how much he'll do (he hasn't promised anything concrete yet). So it would be more accurate to say perfect is the enemy of marginally better.

It would be like if Linux devs simply didn't implement their own DE, relied entirely on software ported from windows, and then focused their team on adding stuff above all else

The electoral power to anything is more than your party having seats, in a parliamentary system they can always spit off. He needs to ensure their loyalty and ensure he can pass anything without them backstabbing him (just ask Starmer)

"We did it guys, we defeated fascism with the power of voting. Anyway just ignore how my politics are mostly identical to Orban with the rest being vague and undefined (like "ending corruption" or "supporting the EU"). All you need to know is that I support Ukraine and the EU, so what if I have no real concrete plans or the electoral power to do anything?"
