In an ICE facility for undocumented aliens.

the south pole actually has land under the ice so he'd have to move from north to south I guess

Do you think the reindeer will start feeding on the Arctic penguins

Fetus@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 248d (1 reply)

Antarctic penguins.

And yes.

JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 248d

Oops

Karmmah@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 248d

They'll probably at least try since they see bigger chances to win compared to the polar bears that they had to face previously

NOW do you understand why trump's trying to invade Greenland?

diabetic_porcupine@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 247d (2 replies)

Jesus Christ he’s been the grinch all along!

palordrolap@fedia.io · 4 pts · 247d

The Grinch is green. Trump's the Orinch.

Santlantis

Kolanaki@pawb.social · 6 pts · 248d

The ground underneath the ice and water. Antlantis or R'leh.

Hooray for Santy Claus!

solrize@lemmy.ml · 4 pts · 248d

There's peace on Mars again!

Broadfern@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 248d

I hear Finland has pretty good views of the Northern Lights. Or Canada, since one of his mailing addresses is there.

hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 248d

korvatunturi because that's where he ACTUALLY lives

webp@mander.xyz · 4 pts · 248d (1 reply)

It is not where, but when. In the past.

BigEye@mgtowlemmy.org · 4 pts · 248d

Beyond the ice walls..

Ya mama's house

JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 248d

My mother does make a damn good hot chocolate

DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 248d

Don't worry, the nuclear winter will cancel it out.

mnemonicmonkeys@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 248d (2 replies)

Alternatively, we could stop lying to our kids from a young age. When you think about it, it's just normalizing the act of lying, which is kinda fucked up

JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 248d (1 reply)

Honestly I never even thought about the lying aspect, I grew to dislike the concept since it's teaching kids that an old man is spying on them all the time.

mnemonicmonkeys@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 247d

True, but you get the same thing with religion. And unfortunately it conditions people to be comfortable with mass surveillance

robocall@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 248d (4 replies)

I hate the whole idea of Santa

DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works · 15 pts · 248d (2 replies)

I actually think it's a great way to teach kids why religions are lies lol

Also make you start doubting every authority figure

At least that's the case for me.

Broadfern@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 248d

This is such a punk rock take and I love it.

massive_bereavement@fedia.io · 2 pts · 248d

You can't surely be comparing Santa Claus to our Lord and Savior, one is a magical figure that judges us by seeing everything we do and promises reward or retribution.

JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 248d

To be honest I'm not super comfortable with it either. It's something I grew up with but in hindsight it doesn't really make any sense to me.

_deleted_@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 248d

He will live on in our memories and in our hearts.

nesc@lemmy.cafe · -4 pts · 248d

They probably won't be gone completely and it will take thousands of years, so for a while every version of Santa is good.
