I don't get it. Is the torso in the back on a printed poster board?

Edit: oh it's a person carrying a mirror.

someguy3@lemmy.world · 24 pts · 246d (5 replies)

I never would have gotten that.

FiniteBanjo@feddit.online · 19 pts · 246d

Maybe if the image resolution was about 20 ppi higher.

ColeSloth@discuss.tchncs.de · 12 pts · 245d (3 replies)

I stared at it for a solid two minutes, then saw it and thought about how stupid dangerous that is.

200ok@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 245d (2 replies)

If they wipe out the glass/mirror only makes the body parts harder to pick up. Dead is dead. Wear gear people, please ❤️

cassandrafatigue@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 245d (1 reply)

No reason to believe this is one of them, but there are plenty of people I'm happy to see not wearing gear.

Darwin finds a way

Alexstarfire@lemmy.world · 36 pts · 245d

Like 2-3 seconds. At first I thought it was photoshopped but then saw the guy holding the mirror.

duckCityComplex@lemmy.world · 31 pts · 246d

About 45 of the most confusing seconds

Eternal192@anarchist.nexus · 25 pts · 245d

Longer than i want to admit, 30 seconds of thinking it's AI and then finally noticing it's a mirror...

mcz@lemmy.world · 22 pts · 246d

It's an optical illusion. It looks like the man on the back seat is carrying a mirror. When this image is rotated, however, it becomes clear that the man in the back had its eyes and mouth inverted.

Wilco@lemmy.zip · 8 pts · 245d

About 25-30 seconds. Nice one.

Kolanaki@pawb.social · 7 pts · 246d (1 reply)

Everyone who says it's a mirror is wrong.

That's actually a fantastic painting of that guy's back. 😌

huppakee@piefed.social · 4 pts · 245d

Everyone who says it's a painting of that guys back is wrong.

That is actually that guys back seen through a window, surrounded by wall with a fantastic painting on it. 😌

not_woody_shaw@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 246d (3 replies)

About a minute to realise >!bro on the back is carrying a big mirror!<

Thanks. TIL the spoiler formatting button in Sync doesn't work for all Lemmy clients. I'll leave it since plenty of other people mentioned >!spoiler The mirror!<

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 7 pts · 245d

10-15 seconds.

thelsim@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 245d

About 30 seconds. But in my defense, I was too lazy to zoom in on my phone, and I’m about to go to sleep, and it was a good illusion.

snooggums@piefed.world · 6 pts · 246d

I knew what it involved immediately due to seeing similar things before, took around 5 to 10 seconds to sort out what was where as I couldn't make out one of the corners due to the low resolution.

Jackusflackus@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 246d

Bout 2 seconds…

AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 245d (2 replies)

Pretty sure there are some safety violations happening here

Almacca@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 245d (1 reply)

Was it the lack of helmets?

AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 245d

Or shoes, or maybe the carrying a fucking mirror on a motorcycle...

thatradomguy@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 245d

5 seconds

tyler@programming.dev · 4 pts · 245d

2 seconds. The legs were sticking out and it made it pretty apparent to me.

Almacca@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 245d

Longer than it probably should have.

Mr_Dr_Oink@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 246d

Maybe I've seen too many of these. I'm not sure it even took me 2 seconds.

HowAbt2day@futurology.today · 3 pts · 245d

Two minutes because I got stuck staring are the 6 toes on the pilots left diabetic foot.

PeriodicallyPedantic@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 245d

30-60 seconds 🫣

gustofwind@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 246d

Took me about 10 seconds

GraniteM@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 246d

I understand that this looks like a pretty good setup for a Final Destination movie.

Shady_Shiroe@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 245d

I have been training for this

kubica@fedia.io · 3 pts · 246d

What is there to understand in a photosh... ohhh.

miraclerandy@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 245d

I showed this to my mom. She didn’t understand. I explained it to her and I don’t have confidence she understands after that either.
