The latter option is definitely an option for those with disposable income, and it need not be a pro snow removal company. It can also be an option if you live around kids willing to shovel driveways for $
I feel these memes are like us looking at rich peoples' instagrams, yes at some point in time some folks lived like this but many more did not and in fact lived much more miserably then now.
