Sure, but what's going on with the east and west? I'm not even sure Moscow is in the shaded area which is just weird.

I even looked at the territories Russia separates itself into for governance, and it maybe matches a bit?

I feel like we're heading towards a world where we're just going to have to accept that whoever made this image just randomly took a sharpie to the map.

He wants a hemisphere, would make way more sense to claim the northern one rather than the western hemisphere. He just needs to have someone help him understand that he's not getting the best hemisphere.

They aren't close enough to be neighbors, I mean you have to go off the edge of the map circle all the way around the back of the map and around the other edge to get there.
