Can we get list that site is way to slow?

errer@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 235d (4 replies)

Seriously it’s like a CSV, the data itself is prolly distributable on a floppy disk. There should be half a dozen mirrors by now.

wheezy@lemmy.ml · 6 pts · 234d (3 replies)

Yeah. This is kind of sus to me. I'm kinda feeling like this is a means of collecting data on the people trying to access the site. I just can't believe that someone that actually wanted to leak this info would this incompetent. This could literally be posted to a pastebin. Or, ya know, a torrent if it includes images. Something is sus.

mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 234d

I'm doing my part by giving them one more name on the list of people accessing it

what are they going to do to me, I'm not in the US

shiroininja@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 234d

The government is blocking the site

motruck@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 234d

Your multiple sus comments are sus.

UnspecificGravity@piefed.social · 5 pts · 235d

Near as I can tell no one has seen it.

Lasherz12@lemmy.world · 55 pts · 235d (1 reply)

Lots of spouses and children finding out their dad is even more of a piece of shit than they suspected today. I hope they're all able to avoid the obvious domestic abuse that will ensue when the population most likely to be domestic abusers get outed. Hopefully that may also mean a lot of them go to jail tonight, but let's be honest, their record showing this only makes them more likely to be selected by DHS as an applicant.

I would LOVE to see some research group look up all of the violent charges of these ICE goons and plot that against the general public. That would be beautiful.

floofloof@lemmy.ca · 44 pts · 235d (2 replies)

They need to release this as a torrent. A website is too easily taken down.

wheezy@lemmy.ml · 10 pts · 234d (1 reply)

Could literally have been posted on GitHub, Pastebin, 1000s of different hosting sites free and anonymous. If this is literally just text data. Something is sus about the way this was released.

shiroininja@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 234d

GitHub would remove it in an instant. Dont trust the Microsoft oligarchy to stand up to the government Lmao.

I know the org they gave it to. They do good work. Yes, a torrent should be made. Yes, their ICE wiki is still vulnerable even though it’s hosted overseas. In fact, American users stopped being able to reach the site last night without a vpn. It’s being blocked in America

AfricanExpansionist@lemmy.ml · 23 pts · 235d (16 replies)

I hope someone eggs their houses and scares their spouses

Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works · 17 pts · 235d

Better to paint ICE on the front door for everyone to see (best to do so in ICE cosplay and keep that mask up)

zd9@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 235d

eggs

SkybreakerEngineer@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 235d

Sure, and while I'm at it I'll pour molten gold in their keyholes

tino_408@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 235d (12 replies)

This is an extremely bad idea. Most of this people have guns at home. Just stay safe everyone.

AfricanExpansionist@lemmy.ml · 13 pts · 235d (7 replies)

Yo this dork has never egged a house

Iheartcheese@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 235d

Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip · 9 pts · 235d

In this economy?!

tino_408@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 235d (4 replies)

lol I have definitely egged a house before. But if I knew the home owner had a good chance of owning a gun especially when hostility is floating in the air I probably wouldn’t be here today to type this

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 235d (3 replies)

if i was egging someone wish a firearm, i'd use the slingshot and egg from 300 yards away

moody@lemmings.world · 2 pts · 235d (2 replies)

Nobody is launching an egg with a slingshot. Maybe some of the yolk would hit the target, I guess, but you'd get way more egg on yourself.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 234d

I mean I've done it but go off king

tino_408@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 234d

This is the stupidity we are dealing with. 🆙 this dude thinks an egg can fly 300 yards lol

kieron115@startrek.website · 9 pts · 235d (3 replies)

guns don't do a whole lot against molotov cocktails thrown at 3 in the morning, just saying. not advocating for violence, just pointing out that guns at home tend to cause more fatalities to their owners/family than they do save people from a home invasion.

tino_408@lemmy.world · -2 pts · 234d (2 replies)

Let’s think this out lol you think more people clean there guns/handle them more then people break in? And suggesting another weapon is definitely advocating violence. It’s like telling someone suicidal not to find the gun in the house. Your opinion is stupid and scary

kieron115@startrek.website · 1 pts · 234d (1 reply)

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/03/05/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-us/

Though they tend to get less public attention than gun-related murders, suicides have long accounted for the majority of U.S. gun deaths. In 2023, 58% of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (27,300), while 38% were murders (17,927). The remaining gun deaths that year involved law enforcement (604), were accidental (463) or had undetermined circumstances (434), according to CDC data.

If there were 17,927 gun-related murders, 463 accidental deaths, and 434 undetermined deaths, then the numbers speak for themselves. Guns don't protect your home. Chances are whoever is breaking in just wants your fuckin TV. If they really intend you harm the numbers say they're gonna have the advantage.

tino_408@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 234d

Notice how they don’t mention how many robbers are deterred from robbing a gun owners house. It’s almost like most gun owners don’t get robbed 🤔

foggy@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 235d (3 replies)

Anyone got a mirror? Sites effectively hugged to death rn.

roux404@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 235d (2 replies)

It’s been down since this morning. Seems more like a coordinated effort to make sure nobody sees that list

foggy@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 235d (1 reply)

It isnt down. It's just overwhelmed.

I have a few pages open currently, but they've all taken many requests.

roux404@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 235d

Ah ok thank you for letting me know.

Arghblarg@lemmy.ca · 18 pts · 235d

Edit: seems the capture didn't fully work. Hope someone got it all.

Tehbaz@lemmy.wtf · 14 pts · 234d

Carve a swastika into their foreheads.

huquad@lemmy.ml · 8 pts · 235d
