There is a French comic called "imbattable" about a superhero whose power is travelling on the page. At one point he fights someone who travels through pages...

It's well thought out, not sure it has been translated yet.

I love items that are in a closed time travel loop. IIRC the Dr Who 50th special had an item like that (I think it was the fez)
