This is the worst moment to start a new franchise that is deeply connected with the image of America. Or does he know more, it's getting worse, and now is actually the best moment?
Or is it about the N in "NBA Europe" and we will become one nation, with Greenland being the first to join? NBA Europe could become the third conference for the NBA playoffs.

Well Germans definitely won't participate because the arm position to score points is kinda noticeable.

Germany is current European and world champion in basketball.
But in Europe there's already FIBA that organises EuroBasket.

Could you explain what that means, please? As an NBA watcher and former streetballer, I'm curious.
Anyway, my personal understanding is that basketball is alive and well in Europe via various leagues, and also has the advantage of the training programs being heavily endorsed by local communities. Whereas in the States, it can cost a lot of money for young players to attend camps and various training programs.
Apart from that, the NBA already has a lot of problems, so if I was a Euro, I'm not sure I'd want the NBA trying to muscle in. *shrug*

It's an issue with a certain salute and that's as far as i'm going to explain that rabbit hole.

I have never seen someone make that gesture while playing basketball.

Doesn’t matter if it’s the same gesture, arms above the shoulder is uncomfortable for them.
Also observable when Germans are dancing. Even if elbows are bent and palms aren’t flat, it’s just too close apparently.

Wow i guess even you explaining it is too much for people here, down votes galore.

I don’t even have an opinion about this, just an observation 😅
