I watched the first Hobbit movie when it came out, and the cgi characters and action scenes ruined the movie for me. Never watched the rest.
Its a shame, the movies had good cast and the script had potential to be good, but now it is permanently tainted.

It's unfortunately very real. Apparently dwarf fists are more effective against a wooden barrel than fucking swords
I mean the dwarf was on the inside. It's easier to break things open from the inside.
I'm not defending the god aweful movies, but Bludgeoning vs slashing
