The first veto of the president’s second term killed legislation that would have brought clean water to some of the most conservative parts of the state. Residents wonder why.
Probably because he wasn't bribed to grant the project. Oh well, the tRump voters can die of thirst in that conservative area of Colorado. It's what they wanted by voting for it, and nothing of value will be lost.

Unfortunately the rest of us get to have the day they voted for too.

God, no. Come election season just create a war and dial up the rhetoric concerning minorities.

Jesus fucking Christ.
I guess even having uranium in your water is not enough to peel them off.
People wonder how something like Jonestown could happen only need to look at the conservatives and study them for a bit. It's a cult on a grand scale. It probably has more members than any other cult.

This is the region of Colorado that voted in Boebert (after she was going to lose badly for reelection in Western Colorado, which itself was a VERY safe republican district). They knew EXACTLY who they voted for (in Boebert and Trump both).
The fact that Boebert is pissed at Trump is icing on the cake.
However, there are a lot of non-Republican people in those parts of Colorado, and lots of migrant workers, as it's all farmland. This really does suck for them.

It really does, because as a state, we didn't vote for him, so stinky don should have no say in this.
xenomor@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 243d
And, they’ll vote for him again anyway (or whatever the equivalent future action is) because it’s a death cult.

A better question is how many more leopards need to eat faces before ANY Republicans grow either a brain or a spine.
I think it's an astronomical number. Bigly.

Oh dear, leopards ate my face again! Trump 2028!

LOL, why would they be bewildered?
He told his supporters he was going to be their retribution. But anyone with at least two brain cells would realize Donvict is just about revenge on his perceived enemies. All you jerkoffs voting for him - he doesn't give a shit about.
And he's butthurt about Colorado not voting for his fat ass and he's butthurt about Tina Peters not being released on his say-so, and he's butthurt that Boebert didn't choose to help him cover up his pedophilia.
This is your party, dumbasses. This is the kind of thing your party and conservatives adore and have wet dreams about.

At least in part. He's also upset that Tina Peters wasn't just released because His Majesty ordered it so.
Oh, and that Colorado didn't vote for him I am sure plays no small part.
He's a petty and tiny man.
