I kind of hate it that I'm paying with my rates for the accidents those people who really shouldn't be on the road and shouldn't be allowed to drive at all. But I do not trust insurers to not abuse the fuck out of a tracking solution

In the EU, I think, the owners have a right to withhold or revoke any consent to such tracking while still maintaining their right to use the product. But of course nobody really monitors if companies are complying, and it is hard to detect data exfiltration from a car.
