I've been asking around as it's been really weird but does anyone else get productive when high on weed, edibles, THC?
Reason I ask is cause no one seems to believe that I do dishes or research whenever I get high.
I have a difficult time believing that I'm the only one but so far the responses I've recieved is:
- it makes me drowsy.
- I get trippy visions.
- it makes me feel good but sleepy.

I play a lot of chess and some of my very best games have been when I was absolutely zoinked out of my mind

For me, it definitely depends on the strain. Some strains have given me that “get up and do stuff” feeling, and some have helped me write better because they rid me of my concern over what to write.

THC can be used as a stimulant, especially in dopamine-starved ADHDers. You don’t necessarily have ADHD, our reward systems are out of whack due to social media etc.

I'm glad THC makes you productive!
For me personally, it just makes me depressed and stupid. Maybe a social lubercant. I call it for me an alternative universe alcohol.

I sometimes have a similar response to THC, and I get really into cleaning EVERYTHING. I like it :)

As someone with ADHD, yes. It is known that it can help in that regard.

It can help relaxation and enable calm focus for some.

Sorta. I have one strain cultivated that works 'best' for me. It doesn't make me sleepy or distort any of my reality. It settles my gastrointestinal system mostly. There's a lot of medical varieties that do great medicine without being, well, recreational.
But there's also a ton of forms of marijuana which will fuck me right up. Like, I used to smoke hash when I was young and in college and that's definitely not what I am chasing with my manicured and vaporized buds.
I think people's mileage varies because the landscape is so incredibly uneven.

Yes, it's heavily strain dependant (cannabinoid and terpine content/ratio).
Edit: and yes people will say indica and sativa aren't real but that's because it's more complex than that.

I have experienced this many times. Cannot have too much. The task cannot be a learning task, I have to already know what I'm doing going into it.

I find it hard to get started doing things, but once I start it's nothing to stick 'till the chore is done. Mental stuff I can't do though.

Not unless I combine it with caffeine/Adderall. On cannabis alone all that happens is that my mood improves, then I get hungry, sometimes horny, and eventually sleepy. It's a really mild drug for me, comparable to kratom or a couple of beers in terms of intensity.
(Also, psychedelic effects like visuals and "trippy" thoughts only happen to casual users who only partake maybe once or twice a week at most.)
