More importantly: being an immigrant is not a moral failing, legal or not (cause let's be real the reason people leave their sunny, resource-filled lands is because of Western imperialism, lol, the West morally belongs to the world simply because the West stole from it, but you can ignore this part if you're not ready to have this chat), and certainly not a reason to murder anyone. Violence that's not trying to stop violence is simply wrong, and can easily make you someone deserving of Hell. But do you guys have that as a paradigm or just "legal" and "illegal"?
Its super simple. Is it ICE's job to kill people? No? Cool, hold them accountable or the public will and all youve done is erode public faith in your institution.

If they wanted "illegal" immigrants to leave all they had to do was punish the businesses exploiting them.

That assumes they're following the legal framework. ICE is well outside of it now.
