bad itch in the palms and fingers can sometimes have wilder causes, like nerve damage or developing arthritis!

Agree except I would suggest sunflower oil as it's non-comodogenic unlike coconut oil which is on the "extreme" side

Me too. I didn't know that skin cremes could make dragons. 😲

😛

I'll keep this in mind because I play pickleball a lot and the dead skin patches from my shoes rubbing against my feet are... Not pretty.

Lately I've been using cocoa butter Gold Bond lotion, and that has made a big difference.

And it feels so good

You ever get that on the bottom of your foot where scratching tickles too much and you realize that biting it, while not physically possible for yourself, would also be a bad idea? So then you just rub it on a carpet and hope that you can give yourself enough of a rug burn to temporarily mask the itch?

But why adhd or femcelmemes?

FuyuhikoDate@feddit.org · 3 pts · 205d

Because I never saw a neurotypical Person doing that.

And I totally thought its an neurotypical thing

huh. any advice for itching phantom limbs?

Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 205d

If only on one side of the body? A mirror, probably. If they've been used to treat phantom limb pain, maybe they'd work for itches too?
