Anybody suddenly get less coverage about ICE/Epstein files?

I’m ngl i’ve been doomscrolling hard over the wild stuff happening over this past week. I use reddit still to keep up to tabs on my local communities. My feed was full of anti Ice protest and the atrocious shit in the epstein files.

But today suddenly I’ve been getting A LOT of ads, random posts in subreddits I’m not even subscribed to or posts not politically related at all. Its feels like its a distraction from the stuff going on.

Anybody else run into anything similar?

Yeaaaah this is probably one of the multiple signs that I should officially cut it out of my life.

Reddit is so absurdly toxic that I couldn't be there maybe even if you paid me. Billions of users defending every evil action that occurs. Fuck reddit.

My sources are almost all covering it exclusively.

Checked and my feed is full of it, but I don't use Reddit for content anymore (just to get answers to things)

User account settings > disable home feed recommendations to stop seeing a bunch of posts in subreddits you aren't subscribed to.

You'll still see some but that's because reddit is shitty and always tries to weasel it's way around you saying "no."

Could have sworn I disabled it but lo and behold it was enabled. Thanks for the reminder!

Get out of Reddit. Guess who is controlling it?
