Not a fan of looking at dudes strutting around in lingerie.
Those are the big three if you will. Personal reasons I know, but I have still introduced this movie(and subsequently sat through it more than once) because as much as I don't like it, it's still a good film. Not great, but very much worth watching at least once. It's given a lot to film culture and has been a foot in the door for the queer community.
Also it must be stated, that just because I don't like a film doesn't mean it isn't a good film. You could serve a vegan a steak from Tavern on The Green and they still aren't going to like it. And my personal tastes don't mean the film doesn't have value. It does. It's also one of my wife's top ten.

They call Gary Oldman "The Chameleon," but it feels misplaced in the face of Tim.

I honestly feel like I instantly know oldman in a movie. I also saw muppet treasure island first so my brain may have gotten confused

For as much as I despise that movie I've recommended it to so many people.

Please, do elaborate on why you "despise" that movie. I'm not mad, I promise, I'm just very, very, VERY curious to get a glimpse inside your mind.

Alright, while I don't share your view (at all lol), those are obviously valid reasons to not like a movie. Thank you :)

An actor who has never in his life half assed a role, or indeed ever whole assed one: he has only ever given more than an entire ass
