It hurts so good. My previous mattress was bowing at the edges and had a spring puncture through the side (which i found with my leg one morning and scratched myself a bit), so it was beyond overdue. The box spring under it had a tag with the year 2000 on it 😐
On the other hand, you're supposed to spend 1/3 of your life in bed and sleep quality has major impacts on physical and mental health. They're expensive, but you owe it to yourself to invest in a good mattress.
sleeping in a small enclosed space with good ventilation is the tits. Like, not even as a kinky submissive thing. Get one of those folding room divider thingies and partition your bed away from the rest of your room. the illusion of security is amazing for for the insomnia.
Gotta say I loved having a bunk bed set up in my room as a teenager. Stick it right in the corner and you've got a nice enclosed little hidey hole bed space, storage room on top, and it's easy and fun to turn it into a blanket fort. Think I might look into one again for the future.

Very true. I'd still do it but gf has bad dreams sleeping alone.

"but" isn't the right word here. They said something negative about beds and you replied with "yes but another negative".

As a dog woman I'm okay sleeping at the foot of the bed, I need my space to roll around and steal the blankets

I'm sure their bed doesn't have a ps5
