Is Summit Open-Source?

I'm asking because I tried Sync but it's paid, has ads, trackers, mentions Google and Amazon in its privacy policy which was a big red flag for me.

Is Summit open source? Does it have trackers/collection data?

You can find the source code here: https://github.com/idunnololz/summit

Ironic, since GitHub is neither open source nor federated. Plus its Microsoft 🤢🤮

Hope the Summit maintainer will see the writing on the wall eventually...

While not optimal and something that should ideally be fixed, it's not really ironic.

It's like saying that it's ironic that an offline software needs to be downloaded from a website.

Biggest problem with sync is that it's abandoned

I'm using Sentry for crash tracking. However you can opt out. Otherwise no (non-local) trackers/data collection.
