ING has real time SEPA transfers enabled as standard. I ask my friends for their IBAN now. Everyone has a banking app on their smartphone for quickly copy and pasting it.

Real time SEPA transfer are active in every EU state from the end of 2025, every EU bank offer it.
The only problem is sharing the IBAN: last time I tried, the bank's app could not read the IBAN generated by itself on the phone of the receiver.

they have UPI in India which works quite flawless, why can’t we have something like that within the EU as well. The platform is there, it’s gonna flourish amazing

Benelux already has Payconiq (only phone number required as identification) which runs one SEPA, I think it will become Wero this year

Its annoying theres no announcement of Blik and Wero connection yet. But Blik is pretty nice localy, i use it to pay for groceries at the local bazar, it has near universal adoption by now.
