Got topsurgery!!

I finally got top surgery today and i have never felt happier, i still cant fully believe it and havent seen my new chest but this felt impossible for so long. I was really worried about it before the surgery and scared i would experience depression but none of that happened. With this i consider my transition done for the near future, i feel like i can finally breathe again and quit chasing the next appointment

Congrats!! I hope you heal up quickly and can enjoy (assuming you’re in the northern hemisphere) a flat chest summer!

Congratulations! Be sure to follow the rules about not raising your arms or lifting anything heavier than 5 pounds, and not showering until they say it's okay. You don't want to cause any extra internal or external scars, or get an infection.

My surgeon said i shouldnt avoid raising my arms, but yea i have 4 weeks off to rest after this :)

Just curious, how long is the post-surgery healing process?

admin@offcentremargin.blog · 3 pts · 200d (1 reply)

4 days in the hospital and then i was told in total minimum three weeks up to 4. it depends on the individual though

Also no working out for 6 weeks and no heavy lifting such as going to the gym to work on ur arms etc for 6 months
