What do you do when you're out of injera

When eating Ethiopian food, you get some kind of stew served on top of a large flat injera bread. You're supposed to scoop the stew and eat it with the bread. But what do you do when you are out of bread and have more stew left? Just eat it with your hand?

Genuinely this -- most Ethiopian restaurants will just give you more for free

But what if you're out of stew then? Eat plain injera?

Then you have to order more Wat obviously.

Hot dogs Wat comes in packages of ten, while hot dog buns injera comes in packages of eight. You've got to buy 40 each of the damn things to use them up evenly. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!

"Give a man injera and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to make injera and you feed him for a lifetime."

This was my solution with naan/roti at least. I wish I had African food available near me.
