There's some stories of llms misidentifying body parts while operating laparoscopic surgical equipment and oopsie poopsie the patient has a skull fracture. Scares the shit out of me.
Sometimes when I think about watching porn I feel guilty and bad about myself and then other times I see somebody rejoice in the righteousness of banning porn and I think "This feels good! This is a good thing!" and I pump my fist in rhythm to the speaker as I masturbate to righteousness and self hatred, ah yes this feels deeper and more spiritual than just physically pleasuring myself! Here is our path forward, here is MY path forward :)
Wait for the big yearly update, that's when uninstalled things crawl back. 25H2 was released in 2025 September, but it didn't install automatically on some hardware so you maybe still on 24H2. If you are still on 24H2 expect annoying notifications about buying a new computer around 2026 September, as that's the EOL of that update. You can force these updates even if your hardware is unsupported with with FlyOOBE
Big yikes, I could imagine this won't stay in Windows Insiders for long. Given how Microslop doesn't understand the meaning of restraint. Glad that I switched to Linux before a lot of their damaging decisions could settle down in my PC and fuck it up!
And locals around the data centers pay with their water supply, higher electric bills, and construction traffic and noise. All this so corps can take what used to be on your computer and try sell you their crappy genAI.
Using W11 local windows account and dont sign in via hotmail and haven't seen much of the AI stuff intruding. default browser is firefox etc. But i don't have a good reason to migrate to W12 ever if they try and be subtle about this stuff.

Agreed. Copilot hijacked my Windos, and I feel much more convenient using Linux now.

You'd think you'd want it recommending porn in that case to use later as blackmail.
Cethin@lemmy.zip · 7 pts · 196d
You have to be ashamed of it to be blackmailed. Just don't watch anything illegal and don't be ashamed of what you're into and you're fine.
WhyJiffie@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 196d
not really, it's enough if you are ashamed of the accusation
Killer57@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 196d
Every single person who isnt ace on this planet, watches porn, why the fuck would you be ashamed of that?
Junkers_Klunker@feddit.dk · 31 pts · 197d
It’s simple really, nobody ever got hurt by AI medical advice but everyone who watched porn (even before AI) is dead or will die at some point.

I've changed my mind, I'm ok with kink shaming in some cases

They get off on porn guilt, and you think they don't have a humiliation fetish?

I installed Windows 11 with a local account, disabled trash like OneDrive and Copilot and haven't had any problems with them coming back.
Any market share that Linux can claw away from Microslop is always a good thing.

It is not Personal Computer anymore, it is a thin client to use oligoarchys computation

I just commented the same thing. I disabled what I didn't want at startup and have had zero intrusive prompts from unnecessary Windows bloat.
I'm still holding out hope that Linux finally becomes a mainstream OS one day.

eventually I'm sure it will. at least within windows I think it's safe to assume if it's on the screen, it's a candidate for AI control.
