Ironically so relate 🤭 Worked at my previous job for like 10+ years, transitioned and went through maybe a month of clunkiness at work before they downsized our team and I no longer had a job. Kind of was a blessing outside of the income anxiety 😵‍💫

That is a powerful title.

All I'm parsing from this is transitioning liberates you.

i was painful in my body.

then there was a transition (not the same type at all)

now i'm in different pain.

i'm still uncomfortable, just a different type of dysmorphia, but this time it's the doctor's fault and not nature's

and now i can't get treatment at all, because it involves pain. even mention the word pain to your doctor, they'll flee the room and call you an addict.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Fuuuck, I think it wasn't related to me exploring my gender at work but I did get laid off couple months after coming out. It fucking sucks

I'm sorry, that's so fucked. I hate my current job but it's fully remote with almost no video calls so my transition hasn't yet affected me at all professionally, I'm scared shitless of having to interview or work in person so I'll probably just keep putting up with it for the foreseeable future.

love the current combo of garbage job market + garbage economy + visually queer looks 🔥🎉
