IBM SK-8845 laptop keyboard with thingy and touch pad

For 5$ I couldn't resist. It feels plasticky and cheap, just the way I like it, but the pointer thing is pretty good.

I don’t care what anyone says, the red nub pointer was the best.

It was until the red nubbin started to deteriorate and was sticky to the touch. But at least you could take the eraser off the end of a pencil and shape it to work until you found a sacrificial Thinkpad to get a replacement nubbin.

I still have a half dozen replacements that came with a laptop.

Thanks! I thought so as well. It's going to be useful for the second PC I'm working on, it'll reduce the desk space. The pointer thingy works very well and there's no sign of plastic disintegrating yet.

The keyboard clit is the best mouse option for laptops by far. More laptops should have it.

Also has screws so I can take it apart if I ever need, or want, to deep clean it.
