The funny thing with Coda is she is afraid of EVERYTHING, including her own shadow. But for reasons unknown she is not afraid of 1,200lb animals at all and will happily walk around them and I can even put her on the horse and she is just āthis is fineā. She is terrified of birds evenš¤£

That's amazing. Animals can be so silly. My mare is very desensitized to me being a goofball around her, but if I approach her wearing a hood, she'll flip out. She almost kicked my ass a couple months ago when I went into her stall with my parka hood up. As soon as I took it off she settled.

Thereās three horses here, she will sit on their back if I gently place her up there. Itās crazy cuz she really is a skittish cat. I saw her follow a bug that led her under a large fern leaf- when she looked up she mustāve thought a giant bird was swooping down to get her cuz she totally freaked for a moment- the most scared Iāve seen her was caused by a fernš¤£ so to ride on a horse amazes me, I canāt figure her out, sheās a tortieš¤Ŗ

Thank you! There are like 10 barn cats and at least one of them acts as my helper. There was a single kitten born about a month ago and I asked him if he will be my helper when he gets bigger and he screamed at me. Every time I interact with him he screams at me. I don't think he wants to be my buddy

There are sooooo many cats. Odin, unfortunately, passed over the winter. Quite a few of the cats did. The farm is old school, so the barn cats get rabies shots and food is left out during cold and rainy days,, but other than that, they're left to their own devices.
