How the Sycamore Gap tree is recovering: epicormic shoots

I’m very annoyed to hear some dickheads just went and cut that tree down for no reason. I guess the kids that stomp on sandcastles do grow up

This was about 50 times more fascinating than I thought physically possible to contain within a 2 minute video 🤓

It is expected to take 150 years to recover. One of them has been released early - weirdly, the one that the Judge believed did the actual cutting down of the tree.
