Me, every day

Me every Saturday.

Today is a recharge day, I'll do all that stuff I need to do tomorrow.

Men on Sunday: It's my last day to enjoy myself, I can get to it next Saturday.

Handed my notice in at work, now every day is a recharge day as I wind down the effort I put in and bask in the glory of everything turning to shit. Gotta teach someone everything I know on Wednesday, in a 45 min session. I suppose I can point to a few of the most important things and say you will want to work out how that code works at some point.

Even our consultant has said it takes easily over a year to learn to a somewhat competent level and that is just the front end.

It's been like this for years now, I'm ashamed

You don't need to feel ashamed. The system is so broken that just surviving each day is a victory on its own. If that's all you can do - if every day is a recovery day from the last day - it's still worth celebrating because you're still fucking alive.

No shame, survival is a worthy cause, maybe the most worthy

Sometimes a problem solving hour every four days is the best we can do, and that has to be okay. Right there with you friend. ❤️
