Fun fact: "Discussed to death in the archives" is also how the Vatican executes heretics.

There once was a swamp called reddit
Which I left when I realized I've had it.
There's an account in that bog
Called a_poem_for_your_sprog.
I copied it cause I'm pathetic.

Here's Sitting Bull standing next to Buffalo Bill.

aeronmelon@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 141d (1 reply)

I’m pretty sure that’s Human Bill.

Is there a Guy Standish who’s kind of just leaning on something?

Is it wrong that I wish that thus man was involved in a horrific, life-changing traffic accident that left him paraplegic? Because, man, that would be some god-tier humor

MightEnlightenYou@lemmy.world · 25 pts · 141d (5 replies)

Yes, that is morally wrong

blarghly@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 141d (4 replies)

Why?

MightEnlightenYou@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 141d (3 replies)

Because advocating for suffering for personal enjoyment is universally recognised as such

blarghly@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 141d (2 replies)

I'm not advocating for it. I'm engaging in a silly thought experiment

BiteSizedZeitGeist@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 141d

Hate to be nit-picky, but you did say "I wish." Better phrasing would have helped you here

MightEnlightenYou@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 141d

You asked if it was wrong to wish that Guy Standing was involved in a horrific accident, I answered. He's a good man and I've had some contact with him many years ago... So for me it isn't abstract
