On one hand, I'm happy for anyone who comes forward and denounces Trump, because that makes it easier for the next one and the next one and the next one.

On the other hand, he can't pretend to be some coal miner or factory worker who had no other news source than Fox or OAN. He saw Trump up close and personal and knew exactly what Trump was.

He's posturing to gain future leverage. It's the beginning of the politicians pretending to care for political points.

Absolutely.

MTG resigned at the perfect time. She can castigate him all she wants without the responsibility of being in a position to actually demand impeachment.

And was on the record in the fox lawsuit as hating Trump. Still came out and slobbed his knob in the '24 election.

I saw a compilation of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Lindsay Graham, and other GOP stalwarts denouncing Trump as a bigoted blowhard.

But they all lined up when he won.

Four fucking years to understand what pathetic excuse of a living being is and now, after the second reelection, he's sorry.

henfredemars@infosec.pub · 29 pts · 115d

He’s sorry he didn’t get an appointment to a high position. He’s sorry about consequences. If you’ve ever listened to this man speak, you would seriously doubt he has any notions of remorse.

I don't know how anyone believe a single word that comes out of that charlatan's mouth. Everything he does is for self interest. I suspect he is setting himself up for a presidential bid or something like that. I don't see anyone else in the Republican party having a stranglehold on the maga base once Trump is gone. Tucker already has the media background and maga base seem to love media personalities.

Not enough.

You wanted fascism, Tucker. Just trump’s version isn’t the one that suits you.

Edit: probably more the fact that Tucker is on the outside. If he were part of Orange Twitler’s Säuferkabinett and getting insider stock tips he’d be absolutely fine with trump.

Are we taking shifts on tormenting him? Is there like a sign-up sheet or something?

Marge: Kids can be so cruel . .

Bart: We can?! Thanks mom!

Lisa: Owww! Quit it!

He’s old guard Republican. I have no sympathy for this guy. He knew. He’s just backing off to claim some of the power within the party.

I am absolutely certain that we could gather a rotating team of volunteers to help with the torment. I mean, starting today. It would be our pleasure, to be sure.

WalleyeWarrior@midwest.social · 5 pts · 115d

Cucker Tarlson is correct that he will be tormented for a long in hell. Broken clock

oyo@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 114d

Since you made such a critical and terrible error in judgement, how about you remove yourself and your opinions from all media and public appearances forever? Sincerely, Everyone.

It was pretty obvious there tuck. I appreciate some of his recent interviews but he really needs to go after Trump and Vance hard for any kind of redemption. He is doing one thing that nobody on the left could ever do and that’s wake up the cult so that I appreciate.

Since we have no proof that hell exists, I propose we subject Tucker to hell on earth, just so we're certain that torment actually occurs.

JoMiran@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 115d

Oh no, poor Tucker. How will he ever survive such torment?

BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 114d

Cool, put your head in this noose, please.
