kinda wild that Zelda games have included grave defilement as a plot device in pretty much every game from the beginning

For something that's viewed negatively by pretty much every culture, it's surprisingly comoon in video games. Even games with karma systems, it usually isn't registered as a "bad" action. It's just something you're expected to do. I wonder why that is?

It's completely commonplace for skeletons to get up and start walking around in these settings so I'm guessing they have different cultural expectations for gravesites. The PC is basically just dealing with a pest problem.
