Halo 2, and to a lesser extent 3, were backwards steps in terms of gameplay.
I mean, in my opinion. Thankfully my opinion doesn't really need to matter here since there's already the original and the remaster that preserved the mechanics faithfully, so I guess if someone wanted to do an actual remake with tweaked gameplay, I'd still be fine.
The US still hasn't recovered from it and in many ways the war continues but through asymmetric/unconventional/covert institutional violence. It's nearly back to the surface, though.
I mean sure yeah you can "just" buy a whole new PC and then learn how to reverse malware without getting pwned so you can save yourself like $80 on some random AAA slopware. Be realistic, does it sound like OP is gonna do that?
I mean power to anyone who does take that route, but we have to acknowledge that 99% of people are not going to.
Generally I'd say they're one of the most dangerous things you could voluntarily run on your PC. As someone whose education and profession is in infosec, games are one of the things I refuse to pirate because the risk is just too high for me.
Just running an untrusted exe from a shady source is enough to make my hair stand on end but the idea of intentionally replacing low level hypervisor components makes me run away screaming.
FWIW, the type of games that require HV bypasses are ones that I would pass on because the "legitimate" DRM is basically equally as scary from a security perspective.
Everyone's risk tolerance is different though. 🤷♂️
For 99% of the questions of "Why does it work like that in the US?" the answer is "racism". But this one has a nice overlap with the dominant US religion, which teaches its followers that being poor is a sin and poor people should be punished. Yes, even if you're a child.
Still makes it effectively 1000x harder than just having the same account forever. Because now you need a new stolen credit card account for every new release.
It's completely commonplace for skeletons to get up and start walking around in these settings so I'm guessing they have different cultural expectations for gravesites. The PC is basically just dealing with a pest problem.
Real talk I think the memes flowed easily back then because Ukraine was the underdog and surpassing everyone's expectations in funny ways.
Now... I think it's actually harder to meme when your side is winning. Double when it's a gruelling war of attrition with lots of civilian casualties.
thanks
huh?

Iran has been shipping weapons and supplies to them with orders to close the strait if the US attacks the Iranian power grid.
The US attacked the Iranian power grid.
Was there anyone else present at your birthday party Elon, or was it just "you" and "your mom" ?

Mac OS wishes it was as usable as gnome.
This is intended as an insult for both.

sounds like a question a fed would ask 👀

yeah in a sort of "teenager scores a basket against LeBron in 1v1" type of way
The units are wrong but the ratio is completely credible when you consider how the US has been intercepting drones
Yeah searching email has been a solved problem since like 2000. Probably even earlier than that. So if it's broken now, it's on purpose.
