For some additional context: Pashto and Persian are the official languages of the Taliban government. There is a great deal of linguistic drama the region right now, as the Taliban has been strongly favoring Pashto over Persian which has caused seious problems for persian-language speaking groups, which the majority of Afghan christians belong to.
While I have no idea what the context is specifically around the bible in the image, the taliban has been accused of forcing Pashto religious texts and schooling materials on persian-speaking communities in an act that has been described as cultural erasure. It's an extremely complex topic - however OOP is a notorious alt right "war tourist" who has "hung out" with the taliban government in the past so I suspect he is advocating in favor of this process (but I admit I didn't look too hard into his comments on this because I just can't do that to my psyche right now).

Great story. I love the switch to Italian in the middle and the point you made back with it. It's simply chef's kiss.
I'm also amused by how much of the original I was able to make out accurately, although I don't speak Portuguese or Italian. The only parts I missed were the specifics of the insults, but I accurately picked up that they were insults. Are either of those words for "muppet" used to refer to the Jim Henson style Muppets? Or are they general insults and the English term is an easy word to convey the sentiment?
If I ever end up discussing Sesame Street with someone from Brazil, I'd like to get it right.

I get what your intention is but there are countries where girls are regularly married off to grown men and they don’t even consider what happens to be rape because they’re married.

Those countries had been colonized for like 2 centuries until recently and US directly sponsored the regime coming into power in most cases.
It still doesn't justify shit in my eyes but it bothers me US one could've been prevented so fucking easily if you just had consequences for rich people.
