It was nice. We had these things called smartphones and for a while all you could use was Whatsapp to text but then the telegram dropped and we could suddenly send animated stickers and stuff. It was really popular in eastern Europe. The tesla was cool for a while but then the founder turned out to be a crazy nazi. Spoiler alert.
Secondly, I'm asking you as a 25 year old, rather than a birthday-haver, if that's okay?
Do you ever hold your telephone in front of you, like a butler carrying a silver platter, and shout at it from a distance, then when it's the other person's turn to speak, move the phone and hold it sideways, so it sticks out horizontally from your ear?
If so, why?
Why don't you just hold it like a telephone, where the microphone is near your mouth and the speaker is near your ear and speak at a normal volume?
If you don't do this yourself, do you know other people who do, and why they do it?
I have seen some older people do this too, but it seems quite heavily skewed towards younger people, and of that, particularly iPhone users.
In my life? I have no idea. I'm not gonna lie I'm in a very uncertain time
In the world?
Hmm. China takes Taiwan. US goes through cycles of populist revolts and technocratic hand ringing with few incremental reforms, oligarchy gets worse probably, AI doesn't change everything but it changes a lot. Life gets worse for average person. In Europe? Much of the same. Stagnation, getting left behind technologically, demographic problems make health care systems creek etc.
Depends on what it's against. I can't think of like a single ideology dominant everywhere around the globe besides the ones I don't wanna start a revolution against.

How was it like being there for the invention of the telegram, and the first tesla coil?

Sometimes I do yes
I do it because speaker phone is more comfortable. When I hold it up to my ear for too long I start sweating and it's sometimes too loud.
Uhh I do that sometimes but only in short calls
Also not an IPhone user.

They say your brain finish developing and you become mature at age 25, how mature do you feel?
droning_in_my_ears@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 101d
I feel no different than when I was 20. Worse actually, I seem to have developed anxiety. Is that maturity :/?

Do you want global revolution and when do you want it and what would be your priorities?

How is your mother? Are you married? Any kids? If so how is your wife?
droning_in_my_ears@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 101d
My mom is probably fine. Idk. I'm currently in another continent.
Not married, no kids, no interest in love or kids. I like making friends though
