I really like this photo, so I made a quick edit in my usual style to use as a wallpaper (no AI, just Snapseed). Here it is if anyone else likes it:

How do you do that with snapseed? (I haven't used that app for a while.)

Export out, then double exposure it on darken mode, mask in what you want (stacks brush), then line up another double exposure on lighten mode, mask in what you want, rinse and repeat. I made a heavily skewed version to fake the in-between frames. The rest is just 12 or so filter layers, also with stacks brush on at least half of them. It's kinda tedious compared to any desktop editor, but I just love Snapseed's interface for whatever reason.

I'm really a novice at photo editing, but you inspired me to try a composite photo, thank you. I'd like to learn how to do this on Snapseed if you have any tips.

That's pretty cool. I love red winged black birds.

See my reply to the other comment for a quick overview. To sum up: stacks brush and double exposure are your best friends. Just goof around with it, that's how I learned. πŸ™ƒ

I really like how you arranged those to show the progression

Thanks.
I did the other one on my phone, this one on my tablet. So I was able to get a better alignment. I might get a better result on my PC when I'm home.

God that must feel so satisfying to pierce through the water like that. And a fish is the wriggling cherry on top.

Taking off with wet feathers and a fish does take effort though
