One makes power more expensive, decreases wages, and steals your drinking water, the other gives you cheap power, good jobs, and filtered water (though excess capacity rarely goes into the municipal supply).

Considering the news I heard recently about a Reno power plant dropping all of their customers so they could provide to a data center, maybe they just want more of any type of power plants so that they can keep their lights on.
