Imagine opposite 2016

No Trump

No Brexit

Alive Harambe

Probably utopia

I think trump was inevitable. Even if Hillary would have won, that would have just led to Trump next elections. The nation is tired of Neoliberal Dems. that's why trump won

Just back it up a few more months and run Bernie, he gets elected, everyone sees how much better socialist policies are, resulting in a political sea change that never looks back at the depraved ways of the capitalist past.

I envy your optimism.

I doubt dems would have allowed Bernie to do anything useful. they are too much of a neoliberal controlled opposition.

These primaries show promise though.

I thought we were just imagining, so I figured why settle for Hillary in our imaginations?

I agree about the primaries though. And if it's successful enough, it may cause a snowball/domino effect for future primaries. Here's hoping.

You know, as long as the tankies don't all complain that it's never enough and then go and sabotage all progress...

Either everything is inevitable or nothing is, but we're not here to talk philosophy.

The only way to right this wrong is to throw a gorilla into the kid pit then shoot the kid.

Dude, I don't want to alarm you, but that's not a gorilla pit.

FenrirIII@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 114d

Fuck! I've been sacrificing kids to the wrong pit. Though, it would explain all the cats following me when I go out
