I saw an alternate edit of the movie that gets rid of that line for some reason. He just says "I ain't that good".

I happened to come across an explanation for that while making sure I have the quote correct!
That was the international cut. Raimi was free to do what he wanted so he threw in some alternate takes to shake things up.
