Former WWE wrestlers Big Damo and Nikki Cross have taken ownership of PROGRESS Wrestling and co-ownership of DEFY Wrestling.
The official announcement Monday revealed the news as Martyn Best and Lee McAteer are done with the promotion.

I have never heard of PROGRESS, are they competitors of Rev Pro?
Also I saw Nikki Cross already has some bookings with NWA at the end of the summer.

IIRC, they're one of the promotions that partnered with WWE and subsequently got gutted when NXT UK became a thing.

I'm not super knowledgeable on the UK scene, but I've thought of PROGRESS and Rev Pro as the top two promotions over there, though I could be wrong. Looking into it, it looks like PROGRESS has more followers on Instagram and YouTube, for whatever that's worth.
