I don't know why she wouldn't at least test out free agency, with her best friend and greatest rival tearing shit up in AEW and around the world and a bunch of fans (including said best friend) practically begging her to jump ship. It just seems silly for someone in her position to not at least test the waters.
To say nothing of what went down in WWE over the summer with New Day and others. If I were her, I wouldn't trust any deal they could possibly offer me.
A punctured lung? Fuck, that's bad. Hope he recovers quickly and as painlessly as possible. He's always been one of my faves, even though I haven't seen him wrestle in years.
Once you're a world-renowned creator of a massive multimedia franchise and a billionaire that lives in a castle and uses your vast fortune to create legal troubles for a marginalized group and for anyone who points out you're persecuting said marginalized group, there's no amount of ignoring that will make you go away. The only way to make her go away is to aggressively fight back against her bullshit.
Yeah, it's definitely not an ideal situation. And I do think AEW should be more open to releasing talent they're not using if the talent wants to be released. But if the problem is that they're sitting at home and not keeping sharp... well, that's a choice.
Sure, but AEW guys always have the option to pick up indie dates to keep themselves sharp, as long as they don't conflict with AEW dates (which, if you're worried about being paid to sit at home, you have no AEW dates to conflict with anyway). It's not like WWE, where you work WWE or nothing, so if they don't use you, you have no other options.
What I'm saying is, if these guys are just sitting home waiting for the phone to ring, that's on them.
Yeah, they're telling people to mail their piss to data centers so they can use it to cool their systems instead of ruining perfectly good drinking water. It's a satirical thing to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of data centers. And it's a pretty hilarious way to do it.
The weird thing is, I never thought he looked physically older, but I did think he looked like a relic of the past. Which was part of his charm to me.
And I think he played that up with the monocle and everything.
Terrible news. Butcher was a highlight of early AEW, and a beast on the guitar.

Also announced:
We'll hear from Will Ospreay to kick off the show
Mercedes Moné's championship celebration
Honestly, it makes no sense. The only thing I can come up with is that WWE didn't see their value because of their race.
Especially not 1 year into a 5 year deal (which is only even possible because WWE deals aren't worth the paper they're printed on).
Allegedly, at least one person accepted that offer that pretty much everyone agreed could have written his own ticket at AEW. No idea who.
Even more incredible than always, IMHO.
It always seems like AEW puts on their best shows when the build has been kinda lackluster.

True, a lot can change in four years.
I mean, I wouldn't have expected them to confirm the story through official channels this early in the contract term. But hey.
Carlin nailed it... They want live babies so they can grow up to be dead soldiers.
My first thought on this was Satoshi Kojima trying to get himself booked on this show so he could enjoy a French baguette.
Bread Club 4 life.

So, how much does Sam Altman pay you?

Literally the only thing I know about Hasan Piker is that he pisses off all the worst people in politics. And I am terminally online.
