Tongue firmly in cheek. I think the only real solution is for America to try for a 'soft landing' of empire akin to the UK, but I doubt whether it's in the cards.

I just don't see how there will ever be an agreement between the US and Iran. The US can't abide by Iran's nuclear program and Iran likely feels they need it as a deterrence against the US attacking them again.
