I am but a waiting weed

Needing for the train

Air conditioner over me

I pretend it's rain

If a haiku is 5x7x5, what is 7x5x7x5?

Super reverse haiku?

Seriously, though. Does this count as haiku?

Edit: Nevermind ~ it's not a thing. But it works great. So I name it Bremku, henceforth.

I, a waiting weed

Train’s A/C drips over me

This, for want of rain

OwOarchist@pawb.social · 2 pts · 93d

Heh, yeah. Could definitely be refined further. But I wanted to keep edits to a minimum.

what is even the deal with haikus? why are they considered so great?

UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca · 7 pts · 93d

For me the cadence makes it feel like intro development conclusion.

It's like a short story in poetic format

I am but a wanting weed

Growing with the Sun

The train has rolled right over me

My life has been undone

brem@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 94d

I am but a thriving weed

Dulled not once, but twice

Let them bring it back to me

I shall sow it thrice!

Bruh, its been 17 hours, pass the joint homie!

schmorpel@slrpnk.net · 2 pts · 93d

That's how we smoke them here while waiting for the Deutsche Bahn. It probably will be another 17 hours before the train arrives, but who knows? Bauen wir noch eine Tüte.

Quatlicopatlix@feddit.org · 7 pts · 93d (2 replies)

In germany the train schedule is so bad not even a cactus that needs a drop of water in a thousand years could rely on the deutsche bahn.

What happened? I was there 15 years ago and it was atomic-clock levels of accuracy.

jasoman@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 93d

An broken atomic-clock it right 2 tines a day?

fizzle@quokk.au · 5 pts · 94d

Cherry picking.

These are just weeds growing in the rail reserve, of which there are many billions which do not receive the life giving drips from the air con condenser on a briefly stopped passenger carriage.

In a couple of days the maintenance crew will spray them with glyphosate and this "tiny ecosystem" will cease to exist.

DSB? Those train car colors remind me of Copenhagen

aeronmelon@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 94d

It’s the Keiyo Line in Tokyo, Japan.

frank@sopuli.xyz · 3 pts · 94d

I don't think so, all the doors are fully flush with the sides of the car here. I was guessing eastern asia based on the zoomed in photo text (千)
