Let's leave interacting with customers to an AI. It's known to have error rates and decision making ability of a drunken frat boy/sor girl. I am sure nothing will go wrong with that.
Yeah I mean regular tech illiterate people as targets for all this I understand, but the fact that there are so many marks in enterprise who are just like “YES MICROSOFT! YES ANTHROPIC! TAKE THE WHEEL! RUN MY NUMBERS, SCAN MY STRATEGIES, HAVE MY TRADE SECRETS!” Is frankly astounding.
It’s really fucking scary growing up and realizing that none of the adults ever actually knew what the fuck they’re doing.
Like, we don’t even trust experts anymore. People think doctors are bad.

I feel so bad for all the people discovering this now, instead of separately from the AI bubble.
One of the scariest and most liberating things I found when growing older was that there are no responsible adults, nobody knows what they're doing all the time, and we're collectively making it up as we go along.
Under capitalism the capitalists own the company, they already don't need to run the company or even contribute. There's no reason for this to change when the labor is done by machines instead of humans.
I mean of course he does. Imagine the cut he'd get from every single business which, not to mention, would soon become so dependent on him that he'd de facto own them. He'd have so much control it would be unreal.
It is honestly truly incredible how much of an abject fucking idiot he’s become. A while ago, he was a shrewd, technically-minded leader - not by any means perfect, but still rather effective. But the last several years have emphasized more and more that he is absolutely high on his own supply at this point.

“Passive income” is a crazy obsession, like water for fuel.

LLMs cannot even run a simple vending machine. Why would anyone sane trust it to run a real business?
Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 70d
Because they're too stupid to realize this.

Considering it gives away Instagram accounts to whoever asks, that doesn't seem like a solid business move.

Seriously the owning part is ridiculous. Dude decides your business is too woke? Poof shut down.
