Blackbox NFS games being the only good ones is debatable, as I think there are some decent ones in newer installments. But I completely agree that Blackbox NFSs are the best ones.
And for the Clutch, I know that every other game copies/implements some content or gameplay mechanic, but I think copying some very iconic elements makes me think "Why?". Considering most players (and not me) only want a consumable product (like Forza), a game with iconic NFS cars feels like some wannabe NFS clone or something. And it's even more ironic that this game is being developed by a studio that has been found by the former Forza Horizon creative director. So my best guess will be that it will be a weird mix of Forza + MW 2012 + MW 2005 + Underground. These might sound promising to some players but I'm not that excited for this game until I see the gameplay.

Tbh, they "inspired" too much from BlackBox era Need for Speeds for cars.
