I think I'm going to buy a landline phone, and hook it up to an isolated 5g network. all calls will be received on it and the cellphone is going to be dumped. sms should stillw ork as expected but bye bye cellphone

Disassemble smartphone, find modem chip, remove modem chip, use as camera/music library/app center.

There usually isn't a separate modem chip, it's usually built into the SoC so removing that would be removing the entire CPU/GPU as well
